N47 and N57 timing chain

N47 timing chain replacement is the job we’re best known for. The chain, guides, tensioner and oil pump chain are replaced with genuine BMW parts before the chain lets go and takes the engine with it. A rattle on cold start is the warning sign. We also handle N20 and N26 chain guide failures and early B47 chain issues.

Oil leaks

BMW oil leak repair for the four gaskets that cause nearly all of them: the oil filter housing gasket, the valve cover gasket, the vacuum pump seal and the oil cooler gasket, plus sump and rear main seals where needed. We clean the engine, add UV dye and trace the source before quoting, so you pay for the right gasket once.

Cooling system

BMW cooling system repair for electric water pumps, thermostats, expansion tanks, radiator hoses and the plastic pipes and fittings that become brittle with age. The N52 and N55 electric water pump fails around 130,000km with little warning; we replace it and the thermostat preventively. Coolant leaks from B48 and B58 heat exchangers are diagnosed with pressure testing.
